Play City Rock Festival – Best summer event!

“One of the best rock festivals ever held in Yerevan!” was posted in one of Armenian blogs after the concert.
The PLAY CITY is a biggest entertainment center in downtown of Yerevan, providing exclusive services of Go Karts, Catapult, Billiards, Paintball, Laser Shot, Bowling, Mini-golf and much more.
To promote the new exciting attraction – the Buggy Carting in Play City, SP Marketing llc organized an Open Air Rock Fest in Yerevan.

Participating groups were: Empyray, Stryfe, Bambir, Dorians, Dogma, Artsruni Band from Armenia, and from Georgia – Heavy Cross and Rema.
Concert started at 18:00, entrance and transportation were free. Starting from 16:00 special buses carried everyone from the center of the city to PLAY CITY entertainment center.

The organizers goal was to make the best summer event, thus the full technical production of the concert was trusted to EVOLUTION.
… and on 5th of June the City was Rocking.

John McLaughlin & The 4th Dimension Live in Concert in Yerevan!

EVOLUTION is appointed as the matching sound production company for the great English jazz fusion guitarist and composer, one of the best guitarists of all times, John McLaughlin and his band “The 4th Dimension” live in concert at The Academic Opera and Ballet Theater in Yerevan Armenia.

The concert will take place on April 28, 2010 within the World Music Festival organized by Vibrographus for the year of 2010 .

We are proud to announce that the new XR300 BEAM by D.T.S. is the winner of the PLASA/09 Awards for Innovation.

The award ceremony took place on Monday, 14 September.
The prize was handed to Silvano Latteo, President and Franco Zaghini, VP of Sales of D.T.S., who received the PLASA/09 Award on behalf of the entire D.T.S. staff.

The PLASA Awards for Innovation recognise products which advance the industry by demonstrating a new style of thinking, improving technical practice, or taking a key step forward in terms of safety.

Ian Gillan concert in Yerevan.

Evolution’s team was proud to implement the sound production for “Deep Purple” rock band’s vocalist Ian Gillan’s two concerts with the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia that took place on March 26 and 27, 2010 in Yerevan’s “Aram Khachatrian” music hall.

Ian Gillan’s charitable concerts took place within the framework of “Rock Aid Armenia/Armenia Grateful 2 Rock” project, which was being implemented by Mediamax and Australian “Do Something” organization under the high patronage of Armenian President. The proceeds from two concerts will be directed to reconstructing N6 music school in Gyumri, which functions in shelters. On October 1, 2009, Ian Gillan and other rock stars visited the school and promised their assistance in reconstructing it.

Evolution again proved its excellence in event production and presentation during the Elite Life Fair in Yerevan, a luxury exhibition, June 26th 2009.

This time the lucky clients were Fora Llc and Armenia Lada Llc, the official representatives of Infiniti/Nisan, Land Rover/Range Rover, Volvo cars in Armenia. The subject from clients was to show and prove the professionalism and the “power” of companies and presented brands. During the event should be also the first presentation of Infiniti FX50. The models arrangement, make-up, custom made dresses and choreography was best done by Infashion Marketing Llc.

The open-air space about 250sq meter were outlined and designed by trusses as a high-end booth, were used 24 moving heads and 30 par cans to light whole space. For FX50 were constructed a small stand with stage and trusses which before the show was covered by silk curtain. Two Delta 7 R, four Titan Solos and four XR8 washes were specially programmed and used only for FX50 presentation. The separate small stage with sound installation was constructed for DJ, who was plaing specialy made tracks during the show and after.

The new four XR 2000 BEAMS from DTS Lighting were final exciting surprise for all guests, the beams they projected could be possible to see from the opposite side of the Yerevan city.

The result – about 2000 excited guest, sold cars during the event, more than satisfied clients and the nomination of The Best Presentation was awarded to the Infiniti FX50 presentation organizers.

The Reincarnation gets high – first time

The best known and award-wining Armenian Reggae band The Reincarnation was hosted by Evolution at Avantgarde music club on 3rd June 2009.

This was really the first individual Live Concert for the band in Armenia. There were video shooting during the concert by Sigma TV production. Guest star was Aram Mp3 with the “No woman – No cry” song.

The founder and solo of the band Roland Gasparyan was so excited of the light show, sound quality and the production service overall that said “I feel like we getting high first time”.

Knowing that it’s the first concert for the band the team did its best to provide guys with western quality production. Excellent work was done by light designer Mr. Karen Vardanyan and sound engineer Mr. Karen Chilingaryan.

Light:

DTS Lighting – XR8 washs, XR9 spots, Titan and Fos led projectors, theater and par projectors. Console – GrandMA light.

This is will be the first full production project for EMPIRAY band with EVOLUTION, we are sure it is the start of long cooperation, and it’s expected to be the best concert of the band in Armeni.

Empyray (Armenian: ???????) is an Armenian rock group, working in heavy rock, hard rock and oriental rock genres. Their works are characterized by imposing vocal, surprising melody transitions, thoughtful lyrics in Armenian and English languages and complete, harmonic musical forms. The group was formed in 1993 on initiative of Sargis Manoukyan and Karen Arzumanyan. There have been about 50 concerts since than, but they got wide recognition only in 2005. In 2006 Empyray recorded its debut CD album with 13 tracks in the group’s own studio, gave its first solo concert and won Armenian National Music Awards in category “Best Rock Band”.
